31 May 2009

Wrote this sometime ago, like end of 2008 i think, a level period.
i dont know what struck me to write this free-verse poem, but evidently something did.

Walking down Memory's
milestone-d lane. Looking
left and looking right;
stumped with cuts, like
broken fabric in chinose skin.
Still, we raise our
hands in glee, as if
proud to claim this
as a moment
or a fling,
ours, ours, never
deflowered, never discovered.
Take knives and hide them
in your backs, stab
when irises aren't aware.
We're pretty good at
this: like it's all a play's
play, a parody of what
should be.
maybe one of you can guess what its about?
typing it out made me realise what the subject was about:
the same as the plethora of other random poems ive wrote in my diary.
words do heal wounds.

28 May 2009

There's so much of the world out there.

When I think about adventure, the phrase above often rolls into my mind.
:D

So its the (almost) end of the school term for the high school kids.
i.e for sister & baby brother.
Which means they'd be fighting with me for all the recreative stuff lying around the house.
MOST UPSETTINGLY, THE 360 STALLED. I can't believe it. I was so looking forward to finishing up Lost Odyssey and starting on the Last Remnant!
In any case, the end of their school term indicates an end to the sleep late wake late schedule that I have because of the new job im embarking on.
Strive, Cherie, strive. For the extra moolah, you have to =.=
I think I'm going to develop eye bags like the panda.

Im on a withdrawal from Facebook and MSN, HAHA.
it wasn't planned, just happened out of the blue, like there was some spontaneous combustion somewhr that I should know about but don't.
I think I subconsciously knew I had to stop, so I did.
A friend exploded upon hearing the news, "What??! Which rock did you hide under then?"
I rolled my eyes and laughed. A bit.
A rock called reality, perhaps?
Anyway, I think it's nice to sit down with a good old-fashioned PENCIL and a blank book in one hand and scribble some thoughts down, maybe plans for the future, or even a line out of some ancient poetry book.
It's a little romantic and whimsical at the same time.
But it calms me down; definitely.
In a way that neither Facebook nor MSN can.

I want a Macbook.
Or an iMac. Whichever. Dual core processors attract me. Really.
And the spiffy design does eradicate quite a bit of the quagmire I face in IT.

East or West? Which would you prefer to go to?
Honestly, I've thought of educating myself in less favoured places like South Korea or Japan.
But knowing my parents, they'd point right at places like France and demand a reason why I would choose somewhere Asian to go instead of Europe.
I can't decide.
Never mind.
-
I like Korean food though. Right down to the weird-tasting kimchi.
Anw, the best friend and I were at this really tucked away Crystal Jade Korean restaurant for some good BOF-esque food! (HAHA, as if they ate the weird stuff we did!)
Fiona Xie (know her? she's pretty well known around these parts) was at the next table, just right next to us.
She's alright; she didn't sound as snobbish as some people I know made her out to be.
She was normal, human, except that she had on some pretty cool heels because when she walked away with her male friend she actually looked tall, haha.
ANYWAY: korean food was fab, really. The bbq was the highlight really!
I had an insane urge to ski after eating bbq meat HAHAHA.
Totally reminds me of the time it was like -10 degrees in South Korea and I was huddled into this hot, delicious-smelling korean bbq restaurant! I think it was with my twinnie, Liw, in Sec 3 when we went on the school trip. Remember? :D
SIGH.
I WANT TO SKI.
-
CROSSROADDDDDDS.
Need to make a decision on which NUS camp to attend! =.=
I wish Jo and Yongxin will make up their minds soon too!
I think we're going to have so much fun together:D

8 May 2009

I think someone just tried to break into my house.
Rather stupidly too - because my maid was just around the door and he ran away when he saw her.
FUCKING DUMB.
Like omg. -rolls eyes-
I went out and walked around my corridor walkway for a while, but I didnt see him so maybe he'd run away.
Well, that's smart.
Don't let me get you, I'd make sure you'd get your stint in jail and MORE.
And maybe a chopper aimed at your head too.
HAH.

We should seriously consider relocating to somewhere with a 24 hours security guard.

5 May 2009

I've decided that my goal this month, (and forever more:D)
is not to get upset over things beyond my control!
OH YEAH:D

Right now, it feels like life can swing either way,
and what I would really like is for it to swing MY WAY,
but y'know, life hardly works the way you want it to(:
It's like our lives are marionettes being manipulated through invisible strings
but I know that's not really the case(:
Marionettes have no private lives or will of their own but we do.
So I guess marionettes arent an apt description of life HAHA.

I HAD FUN TODAY I LOVE Y'ALL. HONESTLY :D
EVEN IF I WAS A MARIONETTE, IM GLAD THERE ARE FELLOW MARIONETTES PLAYING OUT THE GAME OF LIFE WITH ME :D
LOVE YOU.
